German company have started facial scans at shopping outlets.
A trial is being conducted in which shoppers’ faces are scanned by a camera as they wait to be served at checkouts.
This facial scan will record the age and gender of the customer and create targeted ads which will run on a screen when there are a certain amount of the given demographic standing around the checkout.
You just can’t get a moments peace!
