Would you eat an IHOP burger?

June 12, 2018

We mentioned last week that the iconic American restaurant chain IHOP had teased a name change to iHOB, but no one knew what that meant. Well, they cleared up the confusion by announcing yesterday that it means ‘Int. House of Burgers.’ Wendy’s took a shot IHOP, oops I mean IHOB, tweeting, “Can’t wait to try a burger from the place that decided pancakes were too hard.” To which IHOB responded, “We don’t want any beef with you, we just want to share our beef with the world.”

IHOP’s president told Business Insider:

“If we have other people in the world of burgers commenting on our burgers, it can only help,”

Apparently, it’s only a temporary name change to promote their new burgers, so it’s safe to say the pancakes aren’t going anywhere.
